Camille's New Job!

Well folks, I've finally received and accepted an employment offer!!

It's a federal position, working as a program coordinator at Indian Health Services, located on the nearby Native American reservation. I'm absolutely ELATED about the opportunity, and I cannot wait to get started! I'll be working on the Healthy Heart grant as a writer, conducting research and developing additional programs for the agency, networking, recruiting, and a whole other myriad of things. I'm also VERY excited about working with the Native American culture, and getting to know the members of the local tribes. As a Montana native, I've had quite a bit of exposure to various Indian cultures, and so it will be a neat experience to participate in some of their traditions as well. 

I'm not sure what the start date will be yet, as this week I have to pass a series of fingerprinting and background tests, etc. Once everything is cleared, I'll be contacted about the start date.
