A bit out of chronological order, but my parents and two sisters (Lena and Raylynn) came for a weekend visit in March, and we really loved having them here!!! Of course, I completely spaced taking more pictures, but here a couple of nice shots that my mom had taken and emailed me.
Over the weekend, Danny and I also performed a special musical number together in Sacrament meeting. The song that I sang/Danny played was called "Take Time to be Holy," which has a version also done by the Tabernacle Choir (for those interested in looking it up.) It was really nice being able to perform this together, and I was SOOO proud of Danny! He played so well!!! It was also really special having my parents and sisters there to hear us. Raylynn and Mom even got a little taste of our nursery calling that day, as each of them graciously volunteered to take Danny's spot so that he could take my dad to Sunday School and Priesthood.
While they were here, we also took a trip to Flaming Gorge, which is pictured below. We also enjoyed a lot of great food, a local high school production of Phantom of the Opera (which was incredible, btw...) a 3D movie experience watching The Great and Powerful Oz, and some heated rounds of Ticket to Ride. It was a WONDERFUL weekend, and we absolutely loved having them here!!!
On another note, this UPCOMING weekend, we will get to spend some time with Danny's family, as his parents, sister and brother-in-law are all headed out here for some Vernal fun!! We are SOOO excited to see them, and I'm sure we'll have a great blog post to share from their visit...so stay tuned :-)
